Up to 5 minutes per session, 3 days a week, for an 8-week course. More isn't better: the device is set to those limits, and using it as directed is what the clearance is based on. After the 8 weeks, keep it up as maintenance at the same rhythm.
Yes. Your mask comes with two blindfolds: wear them and keep your eyes closed for every session. Even with your eyes shut, the light can feel bright, and some people are more sensitive to it than others.
Bare and dry. Cleanse first and pat completely dry, then treat. Anything on the skin can sit between the light and your skin, or react to it. Apply serums and moisturizers after the session, not before.
If you use retinol or other actives, or take any medication that increases light sensitivity, talk to your dermatologist or doctor before starting. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your doctor first.
Red and near-infrared light (610 to 660 nm and 830 to 880 nm) are the settings cleared for full-face wrinkles. Blue light (410 and 460 nm) is cleared for mild to moderate acne on the face. You select the mode on the controller and can add NIR to any of them. Pick the mode for your goal rather than cycling through all of them in one session.
Adults 18 and over. It's not intended for severe acne, which needs a doctor's care, and it doesn't replace your skincare routine: it's the part of the routine that works while you rest.
